159 Andrew former

Descriptions > White Backgrounds

The formerly Prince Andrew has been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office.  This is probably the first of the big names in the “Epstein list”. Going after anyone on the “Epstein list” will be and is an interesting situation.  The web is broad and very character list has been major power brokers.

The situation reminds me much of the history of Al Capone.  Capone had a history of doing bad and illegal things.  However Capone had his network of personal protection and distancing made it so difficult to prosecute him for the “real” crimes.  But they did catch Capone on tax evasion.

With the size of the Epstein situation, the power brokers involved, the possibility of more than one intelligence agency involved there is a unique web of influence. There is such a fragmentation of information that it will take a while to put everything together.

There is also the analysis of how exactly what was trying to be proven as to what Epstein was trying to do.  Some things point to direct involvement of young sex objects and illicit activity.  But were various government intelligent agencies from both the United States and other foreign countries involved in covert activities against these guys or did we have a bunch of horny rich power brokers?

And what are the names of power women doing on the list?

The statement is just because someone is on the “Epstein list” they are not guilty of any items.  But there does seem to be a need for transparency for those on the list even those who are not have no guilt.  There also seems to be a need for many to fess up.

We do have a dilemma in the United States.  You are innocent until proven guilty. This is not a negative, just a reality.  Everyone walks until the dirt is on them is found.

For Andrew he is in a country that presumed innocent until proven guilty similar to the United States, but they have exceptions and rules bound by policing agencies seem to have direct this differently. There are also certain laws in the United Kingdom that seem to direct guilt then innocence.

Certain statutory presumptions or reverse burdens exist in limited contexts (e.g., some regulatory offenses, drug importation presumptions, failure to provide information about identity/ownership). Those reverse burdens must comply with ECHR standards and are subject to judicial scrutiny; often the defence only needs to produce some evidence to shift the issue, after which the prosecution may still bear the ultimate persuasive burden.

So just as Capone was not found guilty of those items they can be spoken of there were witnesses and links.  So there will be looking at other laws to possibly catch people on.

Looking at the Newsmax report the official statement of charge is Andrew sent confidential trade reports to Epstein.

This does a few things to the dialog. First, it is not a direct charge of sex with a 17 year old. Second, this is a similar parallel to Capone’s income tax evasion aka get him on something. Third, it may shed some light on the larger scope of Epstein’s operation.

Wait for more to come.
