Many companies have blown the whistle and have demanded that the workers return to the office by a specific date. No return, no job. The virus is over.
President Trump has announces the same thing. The plan to get workers back to the offices has been stated in an executive order. Recently announced is the ability to resign the position and get paid. Read the details here.
The virus of 2020 caused business to scramble. I participated in the great send home for a major transportation company including making a video as to how to put your computer together at home.
In theory work from home can work for some. My work from home always caused me to over work. The same with many that I have interviewed. People were sent home with very limited rules of engagement. The federal government is huge. There is a perception that things do not get done in government. There is a ton of office space being rented and run by government. There is a distrust. There is a jealousy. There is a huge deficit in the federal spending.
So Trump has given an option that many do not get from their companies. Effectively early retirement. How many take it how many will use it to create a new direction at a profit?
