Nick Shirley takes a source and goes around parts of Minneapolis and
finds and reports fraudulent activity with a variety of alleged day
care agencies. Ivory Hecker who has reported in the past on
falsehoods regarding the virus decided to follow up Shirley’s
reports. www.itstooimportant.com
and editorialpinups.com have editorially covered the same fraud.
There had been one
television station in Minnesota covering a bit about fraud in
Minneapolis, but it was somewhat limited. Newspapers have not made
much headway in the issue.
Across the news
spectrum the investigation has not brought the results that one
forty-seven minute Nick Shirley report did. Why is this?
The history of
newspapers in the United States has always recognized that there were
editorial preferences given to certain subjects. That is why many
areas of the United States had more than one newspaper. However
newspaper consolidations have limited that debate. Television and
radio unfortunately did not pick up the divergent views but agreed
although Talk Radio has tried.
The internet is now
taking up that slack. Podcasters and writers have taken the
positions and take chances on stories that the mainstream media has
decided to ignore.
If the mainstream
media decides continue their path, the independent journalists will
thrive and continue. Place blame where it belongs.
