174 New Slavery

The United States fought a Civil War between the years of 1861–1865 to end the enslavement of a group of people with a common physical characteristic. Today there is a new type of enslavement happening not because of a physical characteristic, but of a societal locational characteristic.
History has shown that there has always been a system of slavery. Whether it be the ancient slaves described in the bible or the blacks in the United States and other countries and every group in between, there has been an excuse to enslave people. Slaves were taken based on visual attributes. Some taken as being captured in war.
Some may consider indentured servitude (IS) as slavery, but IS had an agreed upon end point with release into freedom.
There is now a new type of slavery. It is called immigration status, specifically those in the United States illegally. Illegal immigrants while being able to live visibly are forced to scurry for the closet and shadows when on the verge of being found out.
Until found out, many are taking jobs which opinion says are depressing the wages of those jobs in the United States. Until found out, many are collecting benefits some which are meant for citizens, some made especially for them denying possible services to citizens.
Another question is loyalty. There were many reasons for past immigration to the United States. Yes, for some it is raw opportunity. For others it was disgust with their country of origin and the view they were not able to fix the situation. (This is similar to the many people leaving states like Illinois, New York, and California for other states for this same reason.) For many it was the opportunity to join a country that they valued the setup and wanted to become a part of the experimental vision started in the 1700’s. Many had left countries that were controlled by Birthright royalty. Others from countries that were mismanaged, constantly at war, and so full of tribal disputes. They came for the opportunity for a perceived “something better.”
For many immigrants it would take the second generation for full assimilation. In the past they were so glad to leave they were joyous in their assimilation in their new nation. Yes, they would celebrate some of the old country festivals and concepts, but it was secondary to the new world. Others were quiet and would go about their day contributing to society. For many it was a team approach. Husbands and wives designated assimilation responsibilities. The husband learned English first as he had to communicate with those at the work place. The wife may not have learned English as she was at home taking care of the house. Reading history, the children learned to communicate with other children quickly as their innate curiosity allowed them to innocently interact with the children already there. Immersion into the new culture accelerated the acceptance and participation of the new culture.
For students immersion with review moved them to the new language. One successful teacher told me that starting his first teaching job out of teachers college he had forty-two second graders of which half only spoke German. By Christmas all of the German only students spoke fluent English. The method used was classes were in English from 8 am until 3 pm. After a fifteen minute break classes for review in German went from 3 pm until 6 pm. Extreme progress was made by Thanksgiving and fluency by Christmas. The teacher did not get paid extra for this. The teacher realized the importance of speaking English as his mother had not learned English and he could see the areas that she was missing because of the lack of language. He also said that to drag out the multiple language class concept would be insane and unfair to the students.
This team process would have its casualty as the husband may have died then leaving the wife unable to communicate, but the children and grandchildren would help out. The point is, immigrants would come to the United States under the rules at the time with the eventually goal to join together in a country that while it did have and still has its flaws has been perceived by many as being the greatest location for opportunity. By following those laws they did not have to hide.
During the Biden presidential administration a massive wave of people came to the United States illegally from a variety of countries. Biden kept saying that immigration laws needed to be rewritten to be enforced. This after his predecessor and successor President Donald Trump proved that need wrong. The question is why did the Biden administration take this approach.
One can look to the Democratic Party and see a major disconnect with society. Far right conservative values have consistency when it comes to history. The concept of strong families, the concept of definite right and wrong, the observation of science and not the dictation of behavior at the excuse of science has been the cultural norm. Hard work and common sense have been replaced in the Democratic party by the dictation of ideas from the college elite while telling the plumber, electrician, auto mechanic, and painter they were useless and would never amount to much. (Yes Obama, that was you.) Coal miners were told to learn to code as coal as a fuel was vilified.
Young males have been told that being men is wrong. Testosterone was bad. Asking a young lady on a date has been deemed harassment. Being strong is not right according to the Democrats.
The men affected by these statements and actions by the Democrats has force many men to reevaluate their political thought. Young men of all ages and races are exiting the Democratic party and thought for vote. It is seen by the Democrats in power control that there needs to be new voters to replace these exiting voters instead of looking at their policy statements and power grabs to convince those who left to come back.
This left only one somewhat easy solution until a law enforcement president took power. Infiltrate the country with replacement voters. Get voters sho left what was perceived as a hell (Wait, did not Trump get vilified for the “shit hole country statement?) Make it easy to get in then from the shadows find enough places to have them live where they would be allowed to vote. Small towns would not be the answer, too visible. Larger cities would be perfect. Many shadows to hide and the ability to convince the locals that the illegal immigrants weren’t law violators and then get them through the voting system by forbidding voter id and making laws to allow election of illegal aliens and non citizens to local elected positions.
Add to this creating voting districts that minimize the small town impact and call for the elimination of the Electoral College and you get a road map to an electorate replacement. You now have a new class of slaves, voting slaves!
Unfortunately there is enough of a population fight back to disrupt and interrupt the replacement process. It has come from a president who has a habit of reading the constitution and the laws as written. This president sees a problem, explains the problem, explains that there are laws on the book to address the problem then goes out and uses the laws to correct the problem.
The president in question, Donald Trump, is not a politician but understands the games of the politician then throws the political process in the faces of politicians and enforces laws that are on the books. He has done this all while the mainstream press omits necessary facts, gets it backwards, or creates an ideological narrative, watching a judiciary corrupted by the ideology of who they were appointed by, and the money of the appointments.
There are a few solutions but they do come with a true cost. Some may seem nicer than others until the complete process shows the true results.
The first solution is to define that the law of illegal entry is punishable by return to the country of origin with a minimum of trial. The law currently states this with the exception of asylum claims. Since the numbers are extremely high, it should be simple enough to declare and train a number of temporary immigration judges.
The process could also be one of the first government processes to use AI for the determination of here illegally because of asylum or just here illegally. This includes visa violation determinations If determine they are here illegally then the subject is shown the door to the plane and returned to their country of origin.
If the AI system determines they are here for asylum reasons, then the AI system can determine if they used the AI system properly. If they did, on to the next step of the asylum process according to current laws. If not, then they are returned to the proper entry country for asylum processing.
The second process would be to offer full amnesty to those who are here illegally with no hope to ever become a voting citizen. Unfortunately this can create some of the same abuses of the system that the current illegally here but hiding and on the run would create.
The United States has been a country that has been based upon assimilation with a common point of view. The point of view comes from the ability to speak, listen, be available as a citizen legislator (The president of the country by constitutional definition must be born on United States soil with this being constantly being affirmed for military and citizenship definitions.)
It has been found that those who do not take advantage of their first amendment rights and be part of the process of representation can be abused and treated like slaves. Similarly those who have no chance at defining the legislative process can easily be abused as not having full rights of citizenship. There fore it would only be in their best interest to be returned to their land of origin and do the process properly.
The third process would be to offer full amnesty with the ability to be converted to a full voting citizen. The full amnesty was pulled on Reagan back n the 1980’s. This was sold with congress passing immigration reform. Unfortunately the reform never happened, thank you Tip O’Neill.
This could let people in who would have no loyalty to the country, just escape from their country of origin. Assimilation would be weak at best. The risk is representatives spreading the poison of their countries of origin versus the assimilation of the United States. The distrust that comes with this form the existing process would and has created a society for the illegal immigrants that has placed them in a lower stratosphere.
Right now process one would be the best to avoid the slavery that would be present with options two and three.
