I remember discussing the Women's Liberation Movement back in high school. It seemed that overnight a large number of women entered the workforce without a change in the number of men being employed. It was said that there was this wealth of need.
Now we see that the latest recession is slow in regrowing jobs. Most notably is there has been a net loss in employment for women. The president says the private sector is "Doing Fine". And that it is the public sector and the construction area that is not.
Well, the public sector is lacking funds due to the "Private Sector Doing Fine?" And construction? this is a male dominated field. How many women lost their jobs at Solyndra? Government should not be in the business of picking winners and losers. But then again, wasn't Michelle's job at the hospital more than a coincidence?
